The competition is taking place as planned

We inform, that the 2nd International Baltic Piano Competition is taking place as planned between
24 April and 3 May. Because of the eruption of the volcano in Iceland and the disruptions of flight conections in Europe, changes in the dates of rehearsals and performances may happen. As a consequence - the alphabetical order will not fully be followed.
We encourage all the competitors to search for alternative means of transport.
The organisational committee of the competition is ready to change the dates of rehearsals and performances of the competitors if it will be necesarry.

MUSICA AETERNA FESTIVAL

Paralelly to the 2nd International Baltic Piani Competition the Academy of Music in Gdańsk is organising the Musica Aeterna Festival - a musical event dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin's music. We invited you to the concerts of the festival, performed by: Alberto Nose and Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot conducted by Wojciech Rajski, Jadwiga Rappe, Urszula Kryger, Waldemar Wojtal, Evgeny Starodubtsev, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Tomasz Strahl and Edward Wolanin.
